Ridge tells Stephanie that he and Thorne and behind her in going against Eric and Brooke's marriage. Ridge goes to Eric and informs him that the entire family are against this union and won't be attending. Brooke tells Beth that she will never give Eric up. Brooke is determined to marry him.

After Macy took ill, Thorne had to step out of his role as best man, leaving Ridge to fill his shoes. This caused trouble for Brooke...even though she was marrying Eric, she still had feelings for Ridge. Brooke's brother Storm walked her down the aisle, as Taylor, Donna, Katie, Beth, and Stephanie watched. Eric and Brooke blasted away in a hot air balloon at the end of the episode.
